It’s very breezy here in Makawao this morning but the sun is shining and the birds are singing so all is very well! It was so much fun this weekend seeing visiting friends from the mainland – Joe & April Chanes, Rusty & Yvonne Trudeau, Tom & Barbara Keefer and Carlos & Krista Ommen (we played at their wedding reception many years ago!). They all came to our gig at ‘Ami ‘Ami Bar & Grill. Love it! We have another week of music and here is where you’ll find Phil & Angela Benoit:
Friday, October 14 at ‘AMI ‘AMI BAR & GRILL at the Maui Coast Hotel in Kihei from 6:00 pm – 9:0 pm. They’ve got some new items on the menu, come in and check it out!
Saturday, October 15 we will NOT be at AMI ‘AMI BAR & GRILL as they are closed for a private event. We’re back to our Saturday schedule there next week.
Sunday, October 16 at PITA PARADISE in Wailea from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Tuesday, October 18 at MERRIMAN’S in Kapalua from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

P. S. The yellow gingers have been going off in our yard. Here’s a shot of a bunch I plucked the other day. I have to take advantage of them because soon they’ll stop blooming and rest until next year. I wish you could smell them…. they are heavenly!
