Hey there,
Yay, the sun is shining and there are blues skies out there….it is a GORGEOUS day. There was lots of rain and brisk temperatures (actually downright chilly for the Islands!) the past few days so this is a very welcome change. I actually ‘froze’ in Wailea at our outdoor gig last night. Anyway, look forward to another week of music – here’s where you’ll find Phil & Angela Benoit:
Thursday, January 9 (tonight) at WHALERS VILLAGE in Ka’anapali. We’ll be Center Stage from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Friday, January 10 at ‘AMI ‘AMI BAR & GRILL in the Maui Coast Hotel in Kihei from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Saturday, January 11 at ‘AMI ‘AMI BAR & GRILL in the Maui Coast Hotel in Kihei from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Sunday, January 12 at PITA PARADISE WAILEA from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Tuesday, January 14 at MERRIMAN’S KAPALUA from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Those of you here in the Islands, hope you get out to enjoy the beautiful weather today and those of you across the big pond, bundle up and stay warm – we’ll keep sending our sunshine your way.
P. S. Well it is “Throwback Thursday” so I’ll share this photo (thanks Uncle Art!) of my brother Bill, my paternal Grandma Eva and me at the grandfolks’ house in Pu’unene back in the day. My Grandma Eva was amazing. She had ten kids, worked in the sugar cane fields for a bit, was a terrific cook, knitted, sewed (she made her own patterns and if you just showed her a picture of an outfit she would sew an exact copy that fit perfectly), crocheted, embroidered – Martha Stewart had nothing on her! I miss her so much.
Warmest aloha,
Angela
