I know we don’t have it as bad as those on the Mainland (weather-wise that is) so I’m not complaining, but man has it been downright chilly here on Maui! But we still have the blue skies, sunshine and birds are still chirping merrily in our yard so all is good. Here is where you’ll find Phil & Angela Benoit this week:
Thursday, January 8 (tonight) we have a Private Gig in Kapalua so we will NOT be at Whalers Village this evening. Catch us back there next week on January 15.
Friday, January 9 at ‘AMI ‘AMI BAR & GRILL in Kihei at the Maui Coast Hotel from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Sunday, January 11 we have a Private Gig in Lahaina so we will NOT be at PITA PARADISE WAILEA this evening. Catch us back there in a couple weeks on January 25.

P. S. We are in the process of going through all the bins we had in storage here. We’re talking a decade of STUFF…at least 10 plastic storage bins. It’s a big, long process going through each bin, tossing things and keeping others – it’s so hard to decide what to throw out, ya know? On the other hand it’s been fun rediscovering things I’d forgotten about. Here’s a photo from the night Phil proposed to me. This is some time in January of 1987. You can’t really see the ring but it’s a gold band with ten diamonds in a channel setting. Upon arriving home from work that afternoon I was greeted by Phil who was all dressed up, complete with a tie! He asked me to get dressed up as he had a nice dinner prepared for us. I had no idea that it included a marriage proposal after dinner. I was thrilled beyond measure!
