It’s a crisp, clear, gorgeous morning here in Makawao and, YES; the birds are happily singing…can you hear them? They say that we can expect another cold front with showers on Sunday but in the meantime, we are enjoying this beautiful weather. P. S. We had a great time at the 11th Annual Derek Beaty Jazz Jam at Charley’s in Paia last week. Derek was a fantastic acoustic bassist, that guy could swing! He will be forever missed. Big hugs and mahalo go to pianist Mark Johnstone (pictured here with us after the gig) for gathering all the jazz cats together for a really memorable evening.
