My how time flies by…about an hour and a half ago I looked out at our pikake bush and saw that there were some blossoms so I went out there to pluck them. Then I saw that there were weeds abound so I thought I’d pull them out as there weren’t that many to pull. But then I saw that there were more around the jade plants and before I knew it I was cleaning out leaves, etc. that had fallen around the plants and there I was full on gardening while still in my nightie. Anyway, it’s another gorgeous day and we are ready to make some music! Here’s where you’ll find Phil & Angela Benoit this week:

P. S. Here’s a really fun blast from the past. This photo was taken at least 15 years when we performed at the Maui County Fair. From left: Jimmy C on drums; Joel Gold on keys; Miguel Maldonado on sax; the great Derek Beaty on acoustic bass; Yours Truly and Phil on guitar. We were swingin’ for sure! (Mahalo to my uncle Art Fillazar for having us there and for this photo.)
