We had a great time playing at a convention gig for the Oracle group (President’s Club) last night at the Four Seasons Wailea. Always a groovacious time with Danny M on the upright bass. It was a perfect evening for an outdoor event. (No Larry Ellison sighting, though…at least not at this dinner.) This segment of the group was the last of the entire 2,200 total. They bought out the Grand Wailea to accommodate their group with hotel rooms. They had cocktails in one area of the Seasons then were brought up to dinner at the venue pictured then walked to another outdoor venue at the Grand Wailea for the evening’s finale – a concert with Peter Cetera (vocalist with the group Chicago). Or so we heard. So I guess you could say that we opened for Peter Cetera. 🙂
