We had the best time performing at the “Last Saturday Roots In Jazz” concert at the Doris Duke Theatre on Saturday – thanks for having us, Bran Apeles. Wow! A big “Mahalo” to Dean Taba (bass), Noel Okimoto (drums) and Rocky Holmes (woodwind) for the excellent musicianship and making that great fun! Mahalo also to our offspring Max and Kendall who joined us for a couple of tunes and made our hearts swell with pride. And thank you, too, to Neal Chin who graced us with his ukulele prowess on “Golden Sun”. Now we’re back on Maui and here is where you’ll find Phil & Angela Benoit this week:

After Party Hanging
P. S. Here’s a shot from this weekend. A bonus was getting to see Max and spending time with both our offspring (a rarity these days). Here are Kendall and Max flanking us and having fun at the post-concert ‘hang’ in Kahala. There was lots of celebrating and great conversation with friends, old (Kings of Spade!) and new, until the wee hours of the morning.
