We’re having a wonderful week celebrating Phil’s birthday – thank you for all the birthday wishes for him…had a nice relaxing day on the 17th, did our gig at Merriman’s Kapalua then enjoyed a scrumptious dinner there after the gig. Here’s where you will find Phil & Angela Benoit this week:
Thursday, September 19 (tonight) at WHALERS VILLAGE in Ka’anapali. We’ll be Center Stage from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
And remember the “exciting news” I mentioned last week? Well here it is…the latest addition to our gig schedule on Friday and Saturday evenings starting this week…
Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21 at the new AMI AMI restaurant located in the Maui Coast Hotel in Kihei from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm with a full band! This restaurant is Mike & Dana Pastula’s latest “baby”. They’ve done a great job with the décor and menu AND there’s a dance floor, too.
Sunday, September 22 at PITA PARADISE WAILEA from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Tuesday, September 24 at MERRIMAN’S KAPALUA from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Our concert at the Doris Duke Theatre in Honolulu is just about a week away on Saturday, September 28th. Hope you can join us if you’re in the area, we sure would love to see you and share our music with you. Joining us will be Dean Taba on bass, Noel Okimoto on drums and Rockford J. Holmes on woodwinds.

P. S. Our son Max and his girlfriend Corey are in the “Pelican State” for a friend’s wedding and visiting with Corey’s family. They’re having a great time and while tooling around town came across a music store and Max, just like his Dad, couldn’t resist walking in, checking it out and taking an axe or two out for a spin. : )
