Good morning from Seattle! Got off the rock on Wednesday the 15th and we are certainly enjoying the cool, crisp weather. Couple of gigs this weekend (House Concert on 9/19 here in Seattle and them Reds Wine Bar on Sunday 9/20 4pm to 6pm). In the meantime, we will enjoy ourselves and look forward to spending time with our son Max and his girlfriend Corey and celebrating Phil’s birthday!

While we waited for Max to arrive at the restaurant, Birthday Boy Phil went on a mission to get an umbrella as it was raining and we left the condo without one.

Had a great lunch at Barrio and of course the man of honor had to have a celebratory birthday Margarita (or two). After the oh-so-delicious lunch, the staff surprised him with a “cake” – three scrumptious orbs of chocolate salted caramel. Yum!

Then ended the evening with a fabulous dinner with Max and his girlfriend Corey at Queen City Grill. Food was so ono and we had great conversations and lots of laughs. Perfect ending to the first day in Seattle.
