I’m as “giddy as a baby on a swing” because not only are the birds singing but the skies are blue, the sun is shining and it feels like Maui again! I even got to lay out in the sun yesterday (thanks Don & Pam Nichols for the pool hang), take a nice long walk on the beach AND jump in the ocean. The weather has been gorgeous the last few days and Phil has been getting out on his board and enjoying the surf. We’re both rejuvenated and ready to play more music this week. Thursday, March 19 (tonight) at WHALERS VILLAGE in Ka’anapali from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. We’ll be Center Stage with a very special guest from San Francisco – the very talented saxophonist, MEL MARTIN. Also on the bandstand will be Doug White on acoustic bass and Michael Buono on drums. Woo hoo!
Friday, March 20 at ‘AMI ‘AMI BAR & GRILL at the Maui Coast Hotel in Kihei. This evening our schedule will be a little different. We’ll be playing from 5:00 pm – 6:45 pm in the Main Dining Room.
And then we’ll be heading to the Plumeria Room to sit in with MEL MARTIN. Also in Mel’s band will be Doug White on acoustic bass and Michael Buono on drums. The MEL MARTIN Show is from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Cover Charge is $15 per person. Cocktails and dinner will be available. Call ‘Ami ‘Ami Bar & Grill at 808 875 7522 to make your reservations.
