Here comes the rain again. It’s another wet morning here in Makawao. We need the rain so I’m not complaining – makes for a nice, cozy day indoors. Here’s where you’ll find Phil & Angela Benoit this week:

Celebrating Bob
P. S. Yesterday was the great Bob Benoit’s birthday. He would’ve been 91 years old. Here’s a shot from his big 70th birthday celebration back in 1994 at David and Kei’s house. From left: David Enos on bass, Phil (playing the Gibson 335) and the man of honor Bob. Although they’re not in the picture, it really was a family band with David on piano and Kei on flute. It was an evening of love, fun, laughs and great entertainment!
