It’s a cool morning with some light showers here in Makawao. Got sprinkled on while walking the doggies but it felt nice! Think I’ll just cozy up here in the house and enjoy the day before we have to leave for our gig. Here is where you’ll find Phil & Angela Benoit this week:

P. S. My paternal grandmother Eva would’ve been 112 on July 23. I still miss her so much. Here’s a picture of a quilt she sewed – she was one of those grandmothers who could do everything and do it well…cook, bake, sew, crochet, embroider…and she had 12 children! I don’t know for sure how old this quilt is but I can remember having it when I was a little girl growing up in the original Skill Village in Paia. I treasure it.
