P. S. As usual, for an island (or state for that matter) where fireworks are illegal Hawaii was LIT UP at the stroke of midnight for the New Year. Amazing. It seemed like some of the aerial fireworks were blasting right from our backyard. I walked up to the top of the driveway and watched the spectacular fireworks. This shot of some aerials isn’t the best – I mean the sky was literally filled with aerials everywhere you looked, some of them so huge! – But here it is anyway. 🙂
