P. S. Last year in June Oprah Winfrey was the featured speaker at the MACC amphitheater for HMSA’s “Live Your Best Life” event. I went to it with a group of my friends. Here’s a photo we snapped while we waited in line. (From left: Janet, her daughter Shauntel, Dagmar, Yours Truly, Alexandra and Lynn) The line snaked from the entrance of the MACC out on to Beach Road! It was hot and we waited a long time before Oprah came out but it was worth it.
